Denistone Sports Club on the 9th October hosted a Come and try bowls day which despite the inclement weather attracted a reasonable amount of visitors including Ryde Council Lord Mayor Jordan Lane, who enjoyed a roll up and showed promise.
The day resulted in several new participants signing up as social members, who are all potential bowlers.
