Carlingford Bowling Sports & Recreation Club has been a proud supporter of the community for over twenty years.

As a major community Club in Western Sydney, one of our key functions is to provide support to important community initiatives throughout the Parramatta and Western Sydney Area. We do so through the ClubGRANTS program enabling us to fund community development.

We fund local projects and services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of our local community, and we are drawn to initiatives that aim to improve the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people. Click through to see our 2020/21 Recipients.

Carlingford Bowling Sports & Recreation Club is a provider of funding in the Parramatta Local Government Area (LGA). We proudly support the development of sport in our LGA and believe it’s important to keep our community active. If you would like to join any of our Sporting teams or like more information, please contact one of our designated Sporting Club representatives.

Club Grants

ClubGRANTS is a community development funding program enabling registered clubs with an annual gaming machine revenue exceeding $1 million to apply 1.85% of their gaming machine revenue to specific community development and support projects.

ClubGRANTS funding is available to community groups, charities, and sporting teams across NSW. Funding is available under three separate categories:

Category 1:
Supports community welfare and social services; community development; employment assistance activities; community health services; and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people.

Category 2:
Provides funding for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport.

Category 3:
Is a state-wide fund that supports large-scale community infrastructure projects, such as hospitals and sporting facilities
